Itinerary

Day 1: Gdansk

Morning: Arrival in Gdańsk, followed by a transfer from the airport to the hotel. Check-in.
Afternoon: Guided tour through the historic Old Town of Gdańsk, with fascinating insights into its history as an important Hanseatic city. The tour highlights the defining role of Germans, Poles and other nationalities in the development of the city. Highlights include the Long Market, the imposing Town Hall, the famous Neptune Fountain, Artus Court, the old harbor, Mariacka Street and St. Mary’s Church.
Evening: Dinner.

Day 2: Gdansk - Westerplatte – Gdansk

Morning: A guided tour, which focuses on Gdańsk as the cradle of the Solidarność movement. The highlights include St. Bridget’s Church, the Monument to the Fallen Shipyard Workers of 1970, and the impressive exhibition "Roads to Freedom" at the European Solidarity Centre.
Afternoon: A boat trip takes you through the Gdańsk Shipyard to Westerplatte, the historic site where the Second World War broke out. On site, a visit to the "Guardhouse" memorial, followed by a walk to the Monument to the Defenders of Gdańsk. Afterwards, return to Gdańsk.
Evening: Dinner.

Day 3: Gdansk - Malbork Castle - Pelplin - Sopot - Oliwa - Gdansk

Morning: A transfer to the Malbork Castle. A guided tour of the former seat of the German Grand Master of the Teutonic Order – an impressive historical highlight. On the way back, the program includes a visit to Pelplin, one of the most beautiful Cistercian monasteries in Poland, including an exploration of the magnificent basilica.
Afternoon: A stroll through Sopot, a charming coastal town – including a walk along the famous pier. On the return journey to Gdańsk, a guided visit to the imposing cathedral in Oliwa, followed by an impressive organ concert.
Evening: Dinner.

Day 4: Gdansk

Return journey.
