A special tip for anyone wishing to discover authentic, untouched natural regions in Poland. Poland’s most unspoilt mountains, situated on the border between Poland and Slovakia. A fascinating world teeming with wildlife – bears, lynx, wolves, eagles and badgers live here, alongside the diverse flora and fauna of Central European forests. This area, once shaped by Lemko culture with its Orthodox churches, timber-framed villages and inns, was left deserted following the expulsions carried out as part of the so-called "Wisła Operation" after the Second World War. Today, only wild orchards, house foundations, stone crosses and cellars bear witness to the former inhabitants.

Morning: Transfer to Mochnaczka near Krynica in the picturesque Low Beskids. Here, you will visit a 19th-century Orthodox church with a well-preserved iconostasis. The hike begins at the Beskid mountain pass, leading up the slope of Mount Lackowa (997 m). During an extended break, a talk brings to life the mountain’s historical significance linked to the Bar Confederation of 1770. You will then continue walking toward Wysowa to check into your accommodation.

Morning: A hike along the green route leads up to Mount Obycz. An informative break, featuring a talk on the events of the First World War in this region.
Afternoon: The tour continues with a hike to Mount Jaworzyna Konieczniańska, which rises to a height of 881 metres. This is followed by the descent to the historic Lemko village of Zdynia, whose inhabitants were resettled as part of Operation Vistula in 1947. A visit to the Orthodox church offers insights into the region’s cultural past.

Morning: Hike to Mount Kamienny Wierch. During a break, there will be a talk about the history and culture of the Lemkos, offering more in-depth insights into this unique ethnic group.
Afternoon: The route continues to the abandoned village of Krzywa, which was evacuated as part of Operation Vistula in 1947. The route then leads to the village of Banica, which is also part of this moving history.

Morning: Walk to Wołowiec. There, a visit to the impressive Orthodox church with a beautifully preserved 18th-century iconostasis. The route continues along the River Zawoja to the village of Czarne. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore another well-preserved Orthodox church.
Afternoon: Walk to Radocyna and check-in at the accommodation.

Morning: Walk through the village of Radocyna. A visit to the First World War cemetery, where 79 Russian and 4 Austrian soldiers are buried, having fallen during the multi-day offensive in January 1915 during the First World War.
Afternoon: A walk continues along the Polish-Slovak border. On the way, you’ll enjoy picturesque views and an immersive experience of nature as you make your way to the villages of Ożenna and Huta Polańska. The area around the Ciechania clearing is one of the most beautiful in the Beskid Mountains.
Evening: Check-in at the accommodation, followed by dinner.
