The tour begins in Gdansk’s historic city centre, rich in cultural treasures and impressive monuments, before continuing to Oliwa and its imposing Gothic cathedral, famous for organ concerts.
Highlights in Sopot: Walk along the charming main promenade, affectionately known as Monciak, lined with magnificent villas that once served as summer residences for wealthy Gdansk patrician families. Experience the elegant atmosphere of the famous Grand Hotel and admire the long wooden pier, the longest on the Baltic coast. Once a quiet fishing village of only 300 inhabitants, Sopot began developing into a popular spa and seaside resort in 1823 through the work of French military doctor Jean Georg Haffner.
Continue to Gdynia: The city is an impressive example of Polish engineering and modern architecture from the 1920s. Once a small fishing village, Gdynia developed into a dynamic port city with shipyards and a strong maritime identity. Two historic ships are moored at the quay: ORP Błyskawica, a destroyer from the Second World War, and the former training sailing ship Dar Pomorza, now a museum.
