St Michael the Archangel Church, an impressive example of Neo-Gothic architecture, was built in the second half of the nineteenth century and continues to attract visitors with its historic atmosphere. It has a particularly important connection with Edith Stein, the renowned philosopher who later became a saint of the Catholic Church and who regularly came here to pray.
