Hel was an important military area before the war, and many fortifications and large coastal guns have survived.
The scenic cycle route leads from Hel via Jurata to Jastarnia, approximately 15 kilometres. Visit the historic lighthouse and enjoy coastal views, then cycle back to Hel before returning to Gdansk by ferry.
