Holocaust Study Tour:
Krakow – Auschwitz-Birkenau – Bor Budy – Chelmno – Lodz – Treblinka – Warsaw

Evening: Arrival in Krakow. Transfer to the accommodation and check-in. Dinner and overnight stay. 

Morning: Guided tour of Poland’s former capital, beginning with a walking tour of Krakow’s Old Town. The itinerary includes the Main Square (Rynek) with St Mary’s Basilica, the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), the narrow streets of the Old Town, and a visit to Wawel Castle Hill. Lunch.
Afternoon: Tour of the Jewish quarter, Kazimierz. Visit to the Remuh Synagogue with its 16th-century Jewish cemetery, followed by a visit to the Old Synagogue (Stara Synagoga) – a blend of Gothic and Renaissance styles – which has been converted into a museum of Jewish culture and tradition.
Visit to the Oskar Schindler’s Factory Museum. Told through the story of Oskar Schindler, the museum's exhibition brings together a wealth of artefacts and documents that offer insight into the realities of the Nazi occupation of Poland.
Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Krakow.

Morning: Departure to Oświęcim where the former Auschwitz concentration camp is located. Tour of the exhibition in the barracks of Auschwitz I – Stammlager: the "Death barrack", the execution wall, a gas chamber and a crematorium – the only surviving examples of their kind. Auschwitz II – Birkenau, the site of the extermination of the Jews: prisoners’ barracks, the ruins of the gas chambers and the memorial to the victims. /Tour duration: 3.5 h/.
Lunch. 
Afternoon: Transfer to Bór Budy /a 10-minute coach journey from Auschwitz/ – a former Auschwitz sub-camp where a women’s disciplinary unit was stationed. After years of neglect, the site has recently been restored to public memory thanks to the efforts of a local charity. /Tour duration: ~ 1 h/
Transfer by coach to Łódź /~ 3.5 hours’ drive/
Evening: Arrival in Łódź. Check-in at the accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.

Morning: Guided tour of Łódź city centre, taking in Piotrkowska Street and its distinctive 19th-century industrial heritage, the Jewish Cemetery—one of the largest in Europe—the site of the former Jewish ghetto, and the Radegast railway station, from which thousands of Jews were deported to camps, including Chełmno. The restored station building now serves as a museum and with a small archive. Lunch.
Onward journey to Chełmno /1-hour drive/
Guided tour of the former concentration camp at Chełmno /approximately 2 hours/. After the tour, onward journey to Warsaw.
Evening: Check-in at the accommodation in Warsaw. Dinner.

Morning: Tour of the UNESCO-listed Warsaw’s Old Town, which was completely destroyed during the Second World War.
Guided tour of the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto. The former Pawiak political prison; the Monument to the Heroes of the Ghetto; Bunker on Miła Street – the mass grave of the uprising’s leaders; and Umschlagplatz – the departure point for the Treblinka concentration camp. The Jewish cemetery with the symbolic grave of Janusz Korczak.
Lunch.
Afternoon: Guided tour of the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, dedicated to 1,000 years of Jewish presence in Poland /approximately 2 hours/.
Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Warsaw.

Morning: Guided tour of the former orphanage run by Janusz Korczak and the exhibition on the life and work of the "Old Doctor".
Afternoon: Transfer to Treblinka /a 1.5-hour drive from Warsaw/, the second-largest extermination site after Auschwitz, where around 800,000 Jews were murdered. The victims included many deportees from the Warsaw Ghetto, among them Janusz Korczak and the children in his care.
Guided tour of Treblinka /approximately 2 hours/.
Return to Warsaw.
Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Warsaw.

Morning: Transfer to the airport. Departure.
