Janusz Korczak, doctor, educator, writer, often called "the good father of other people’s children". True to his convictions and to the children in his care. A wise, ascetic, and saintly figure who recognised every child as an individual. A dreamer who never ceased to believe in a better world. A devoted servant of the weakest and most vulnerable.
His life was inseparably linked to Warsaw. The "Old Doctor" was part of both Polish and Jewish heritage, while his message speaks across cultures and religions.
To follow in his footsteps is to journey through Poland, into a world of Jewish culture that was nearly obliterated, while also embarking on a search for the universal values of humanism.

Itinerary: Warsaw — Treblinka — Krakow — Auschwitz-Birkenau
Morning: Arrival in Warsaw. Transfer to the accommodation. Check-in and lunch.
Afternoon: "Warsaw – like a phoenix from the ashes" – tour of the city reduced to rubble by the Germans and rebuilt after the war. On the itinerary: a walk through the UNESCO listed Old Town, reconstructed after the wartime damage; the Socialist Realist Palace of Culture and Science, and the New Town – the symbol of the city’s transformation.
Evening: Dinner. Optional: screening of Andrzej Wajda’s film "Korczak".
Morning: The ghetto and the ghetto uprising – a guided tour of the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto. The exhibition at the former Pawiak political prison; the Monument to the Heroes of the Ghetto; Bunker on Miła Street – the mass grave of the uprising’s leaders; and Umschlagplatz – the departure point for the Treblinka concentration camp.
Afternoon: Visit to the Jewish cemetery, the symbolic grave of Janusz Korczak, and the former orphanage run by Korczak, featuring an exhibition on the life and work of the "Old Doctor".
Evening: Dinner. Optional: Meeting with an eyewitness from the Children of the Holocaust Association.
Morning: Departure for Treblinka – the second-largest extermination camp after Auschwitz, where around 800,000 Jews were murdered, most of them from the Warsaw Ghetto, including Janusz Korczak and the children in his care.
Afternoon: Return to Warsaw and a visit to the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, dedicated to 1,000 years of Jewish presence in Poland.
Evening: Dinner.
Morning: Bus or train transfer to Krakow. Check-in at the accommodation. Lunch.
Afternoon: Guided tour of Kazimierz, Krakow’s former Jewish quarter. The itinerary includes a visit to the Old Synagogue (Stara Synagoga), which combines Gothic and Renaissance styles, now a museum of Judaism, followed by the 16th-century Jewish cemetery adjacent to the Synagogue Remuh. A tour of the site of the former ghetto in the district of Podgórze and a visit to the Oskar Schindler’s Factory Museum featuring the exhibition "Krakow under Nazi occupation 1939 – 1945".
Evening: Dinner at a Jewish restaurant in Kazimierz accompanied by Klezmer music.
Morning: Transfer by coach to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Visit to the museum is composed of two parts:
Evening: Return to Krakow. Dinner.
Morning: Transfer to the airport and departure from Krakow.
