Day 1: Lodz – Piotrkowska Street
Arrival: Arrival in Łódź and check-in at the accommodation.
Evening: A stroll along the impressive Piotrkowska Street reveals the historic charm of Łódź’s most famous boulevard, lined with elegant architecture, cafés, and lively urban scenes. Dinner at OFF Piotrkowska, a vibrant cultural and culinary hub set within the former Ramisch textile factory, where industrial heritage blends seamlessly with contemporary creativity and atmosphere.
Day 2: White Factory – Izreal Poznanski Palace – Manufaktura
Morning: The day begins at Ludwik Geyer’s "White Factory", where an interactive exhibition brings the fascinating story of Łódź and its rise as one of Europe’s leading textile centres to life. The tour continues with a guided walk along Piotrkowska Street, the city’s magnificent main boulevard, where elegant turn-of-the-century architecture reflects the wealth and ambition of the industrial era. Stories of writers such as Julian Tuwim, Władysław Reymont, and Joseph Roth, together with the music of world-renowned pianist Arthur Rubinstein, add a personal and cultural dimension to the city’s history.
Afternoon: The tour continues to the impressive palace of industrialist Izrael Poznański, an extraordinary example of eclectic architecture and the former residence of one of Łódź’s most influential families.
Evening: The day concludes at Manufaktura, a vibrant cultural, shopping, and leisure complex created within the historic buildings of the former textile factory, where industrial heritage meets contemporary city life. Dinner.
Day 3: Baluty district – Chelmno extermination camp
Morning: The day begins with an exploration of Łódź’s Jewish heritage. Once home to Poland’s second-largest Jewish community, with more than 180,000 members, the city was profoundly shaped by Jewish culture and traditions. A walk through the historic Bałuty district reveals the traces of the former ghetto, which was transformed during the Second World War into a major forced-labour centre. The programme includes visits to important memorial sites, including the largest Jewish cemetery in Europe, the Radegast Station Memorial, and the exhibition at the Marek Edelman Center, which preserve the memory and stories of Łódź’s Jewish community.
Afternoon: The excursion continues to the former Chełmno extermination site (Kulmhof), where a visit to the memorial grounds offers a place for reflection and remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust.
Evening: Dinner.
Day 4: Ksiezy Mlyn district
Morning: The day begins with a journey into Łódź’s industrial heritage. The beautifully preserved factory complexes, workers’ settlements, and elegant palaces of former factory owners reveal the city’s remarkable 19th-century transformation. Highlights include the Scheibler Palace, now home to the Film Museum, the historic factory buildings, and the charming workers’ settlement of Księży Młyn. The visit is complemented by a stop at the private Museum of Artistic Books, where unique creations and historic printing presses showcase the craftsmanship of bookmaking.
Afternoon: The afternoon is at leisure, offering time for individual exploration. A recommended visit is the Museum of Contemporary Art, home to one of the most important collections of 20th-century Polish art.

Day 5: Lodz
After check-out, the return journey begins.
