The Church of Saint Brother Albert and Saint Andrew the Apostle stands on one of Warsaw’s most impressive squares, Theatre Square. Directly opposite is the Grand Theatre, Poland’s largest stage and an important centre of the city’s cultural life. The modest but significant church was rebuilt in the 1990s on the site of a place of worship destroyed during the war, linking history with the living present.
The church is an active centre of creative life and offers pastoral ministry bringing together people from the worlds of culture and art. Concerts held immediately after Sunday Mass attract an appreciative and discerning audience. The parish choir Cantus Laudabilis also enriches the atmosphere with its music.
