Day 1: Krakow - Old Town

Morning: Arrival in Krakow, followed by a transfer from Krakow Airport to the accommodation. Check-in.
Afternoon: A guided exploration of historic Krakow: the Old Town, which leads to sights such as the Market Square, St. Mary’s Basilica, the Cloth Hall, and the winding lanes of the Old Town. Leisure time.
Evening: Dinner.

Day 2: Krakow - Jewish quarter - Wawel Castle - Collegium Maius

Morning: A guided tour through the former Jewish quarter of Kazimierz, which includes significant sites such as the Remuh Synagogue and the Tempel Synagogue, the historic Jewish cemeteries, and the Centre for Jewish Culture – an in-depth insight into its eventful history and vibrant traditions.
Afternoon: Krakow as the "City of Kings and Saints" with visits to the majestic Wawel Royal Castle / representative chambers / and the imposing Wawel Cathedral with royal tombs and the Sigismund Bell. A guided tour of the Collegium Maius, the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University, which serves today as the university museum offering an insight intothe history of Copernicus and Faustus, who once studied here. Leisure time.
Evening: Dinner.
Optional: Dinner in a Jewish restaurant, accompanied by a Klezmer concert. 

Day 3: Auschwitz-Birkenau

Morning: Transfer to Oświęcim, polish vity where the former concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau is located. A visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Site with guided tour consisting of two parts: a visit to the blocks at Auschwitz I – Stammlager, which includes the "death block", the execution wall, a gas chamber and a crematorium – the only ones to have been preserved, and a tour of Auschwitz II – Birkenau, the site of the extermination of the Jews: the prisoners’ barracks, the ruins of the gas chambers and the memorial to the victims.
Return to Krakow.
Afternoon: At leisure.
Optional: A visit to the medieval Wieliczka Salt Mine – an exceptional monument of European industrial culture. During the tour of the underground city, a labyrinth of chambers and tunnels is revealed, uniquely combining history and technology.
Evening: Dinner.

Day 4: Krakow

Return journey.
