For many years, we have been organising choral performances and concerts in numerous historic venues in this beautiful city on the Motława River. Whether it is the impressive St Mary’s Church, the largest brick church in the world, the beautiful interiors of St John’s Church or the Franciscan Church, or the historic halls of the Artus Court: each of these performances is an unforgettable experience for both performers and audience. As well as these historic venues, your choir can look forward to performing in the halls of the Academy of Music and the Gdańsk Opera. Choirs singing in public spaces particularly appreciate the stunning views of the promenade in Sopot or of Gdańsk’s most prestigious street, the Long Market. These concerts are always organised entirely in line with your individual wishes and ideas. Always with a love of music and singing.
Morning: Arrival in Gdańsk, followed by a comfortable transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon: At leisure to discover Gdańsk Old Town on your own.
Evening: Dinner.
Morning: A guided tour through the historic Old Town offers fascinating insights into Gdańsk’s history as a Hanseatic city. Highlights include visits to the Long Market, Town Hall, Neptune Fountain, Artus Court, the old harbour, Mariacka Street, and the impressive St. Mary’s Church.
Afternoon: Rehearsal before the concert.
Evening: Concert in the previously agreed concert venue. Afterwards, a shared dinner.
Morning: The journey leads into the history of Gdańsk, the birthplace of Solidarność. A visit to St. Bridget's Church and the Monument to the Fallen Shipyard Workers of 1970 offers insights into the city's eventful past. The visit to the European Solidarity Centre deepens the understanding of the struggle for freedom and democracy.
Afternoon: A boat tour through the Gdańsk Shipyard offers views of historic sites, including Westerplatte, known as the place where the Second World War began. The trip ends in Sopot, where a walk along the famous pier invites you to linger. On the return journey to Gdańsk, a guided tour of Oliwa Cathedral, featuring an organ concert.
Evening: Dinner.
Morning: Transfer from Gdańsk to Malbork. A guided tour through the impressive walls of the former headquarters of the German Grand Master of the Teutonic Order.
Afternoon: The journey continues to Pelplin, where one of the most beautiful Cistercian monasteries in Poland is located. The majestic basilica impresses with its architecture and atmosphere. It is also renowned for its fantastic acoustics, which can be experienced by performing a few songs. Afterwards, the return journey to Gdańsk.
Evening: Dinner.
Morning: At leisure.
Afternoon: Bus transfer to Gdańsk Airport and departure.
