The Masurian Lake District, home to over 2,000 lakes, is a true paradise for cycling enthusiasts and lovers of unspoilt nature. We invite you on a magical journey to north-eastern Poland for a wonderful holiday surrounded by nature.
In Masuria, cycling is a great way to explore the region. Following its numerous cycle paths, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of lakes, rivers and forests, with plenty of opportunities to swim in the crystal-clear waters. Our programme also includes a cultural element: you'll have a chance to expierience the region’s heritage with its wooden churches and remote little villages that have preserved their traditional character and charm.

Itinerary

Day 1: Warsaw

Afternoon: Arrival in Warsaw and check-in at the accommodation. Guided tour of the capital, including the Old Town with its Baroque buildings, St. John’s Cathedral with the tombs of some of Poland's most notable figures, the Royal Castle and Sigismund’s Column, and St. Anne’s Church.
Evening: Dinner at a restaurant in the Old Town.

Day 2: Warsaw – Mragowo

Morning: Transfer to Mrągowo, a town in Masuria famous for its annual Piknik Country – a major international country music festival held every summer.
Check-in at the accommodation.
Afternoon: Cycling tour around Mrągowo.
Evening: Traditional folk dinner around a campfire.

Day 3: Mragowo – Swieta Lipka – Ketrzyn – Mragowo

Morning: All-day cycling tour. The route: Mrągowo – Polska Wieś – Gizewo – Święta Lipka (Visit to the Shrine of the Virgin Mary, a stunning Baroque architectural complex, one of the best known in Warmia-Masuria, dating from the 17th century. Organ concert. The cycle route continues towards Kętrzyn. Visit to the Gothic castle of the Teutonic Order.
Afternoon: /∼3.00 pm/ Arrival in Gierloza, home to the 'Wolf’s Lair' (Wilczy Szaniec), Hitler’s headquarters during the Second World War. Return by coach to Mrągowo.
Evening: Dinner.
Distance cycled: 48 km

Day 4: Mragowo – Probark – Krutyn – Wojnowo – Ruciane Nida

Morning: Cycling tour with a stop in Probark. Ride through a Masurian nature reserve before arriving in Krutyń. Lunch break, followed by a cycle to Wojnowo, where you can visit a 19th-century monastery of the Old Believers, an interesting example of the religious and ethnic diversity of north-eastern Poland.
Afternoon: Arrival in Ruciane-Nida. Check-in at the hotel and dinner.
Distance cycled: 44 km

Day 5: Ruciane Nida – Pisz

Morning: Boat trip on Lake Nidzkie.
Afternoon: Bike ride through the pine and fir forests of the Pisz Primeval Forest to Zamordeje. The route then continues along the shores of Lake Nidzkie to Wielki Las village.
Evening: Arrival in Pisz. Check-in at the accommodation. Dinner.
Distance cycled: 48 km

Day 6: Pisz – Ruciane Nida – Mikolajki – Stare Sady

Morning: Cycle to Ruciane-Nida, stopping at Niedźwiedzi Róg by Lake Śniardwy, Poland’s largest lake. Boat trip on Lake Bełdany, followed by a walk around Mikołajki and a short bike ride to Stare Sady.
Evening: Dinner.
Cycling distance: 30 km

Day 7: Mikolajki – Warsaw

Return journey to Warsaw.
Departure.
