Day 1: Warsaw
Afternoon: Arrival in Warsaw. Check-in at the hotel. Guided tour of the capital: the Old Town with its Baroque-style buildings, St John’s Cathedral with the tombs of famous figures such as Stanisław August Poniatowski, Henryk Sienkiewicz and Ignacy Paderewski, the Royal Castle and Sigismund’s Column, and St Anne’s Church.
Evening: Dinner at a restaurant in the Old Town.
Day 2: Warsaw - Mragowo
Morning: Departure by coach/train to Mrągowo – the village in Masuria known for the ‘Country Picnic’, a major international event held every summer. Check-in at the hotel.
Afternoon: Cycling tour around Mrągowo.
Evening: Folk dinner around a campfire.
Day 3: Mragowo - Swieta Lipka - Ketrzyn - Mragowo
Morning: All-day cycling tour. The route: Mrągowo – Polska Wieś – Gizewo – Święta Lipka (Visit to the Shrine of the Virgin Mary, a stunning Baroque architectural complex, one of the best known in Warmia-Masuria, dating from the 17th century. Organ concert). The cycle route continues towards Kętrzyn. Visit to the Gothic castle of the Teutonic Order.
Afternoon: At 3.00 pm, arrival in Gierloza, home to the ‘Wolf’s Lair’ (Wilczy Szaniec), Hitler’s headquarters during the Second World War. Parts of it can still be visited today. Return by coach to Mrągowo.
Evening: Dinner.

Day 4: Mragowo - Ruciane Nida
Morning: Cycle tour with a stop at Probark. Ride through a Masurian nature reserve. Arrival in Krutyn. Lunch break, then continue cycling to Wojnowo, where you can visit a monastery of the Old Believers, dating from the mid-19th century. It is an interesting example of the religious and ethnic diversity of north-eastern Poland.
Afternoon: Arrival in Ruciane-Nida. Check-in at the hotel and dinner.

Day 5: Ruciane Nida – the Primeval Forest of Pisz – Pisz
Morning: Boat trip on Lake Nidzkie. The programme continues by bike through the pine and fir-filled forests of the Pisz Primeval Forest to Zamordeje. Ride along Lake Nidzkie to Wielki Las.
Evening: Arrival in Pisz. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner.

Day 6: Pisz - Ruciane Nida - Mikolajki
Morning: Cycle to Ruciane Nida, stopping at Niedźwiedzi Rog by Lake Śniardwy (Poland’s largest lake). Boat trip on Lake Beltany in Mikołajki. Walk around Mikołajki – one of the largest holiday resorts in Masuria. Short cycle trip to Stare Sady.
Evening: Dinner.

Day 7: Mikolajki - Warsaw
Return journey to Warsaw.
